Applications can only be submitted by agencies and health care professionals (e.g. midwives, doctors, nurses, social workers, housing workers and shelters), not from individuals or families.

How to Qualify for Help:

The New Mom Project supports low-income families who are newcomers, parents, moms, dads, and grandparents living in Toronto and the GTA.

After we receive your registration we will send you a welcome package with the login information to start submitting applications for your clients.

Accompanying documents required for each application include:
-proof of ID
-proof of income

Receiving Help:

Once we will receive the application completed, we will process it in a timely manner (up to 4 weeks) and will contact you once approved.
After approval only, your client will be able to book an appointment through our New Moms corner page to come to choose their items.
Please note our inventory is based on what we receive as donations and consists of gently used items and is always changing.
Clients are eligible for a total of 5 visits so hopefully, they have obtained necessary items for their baby.

Can I just tell my client to drop in without submitting an application, or waiting for the approval?

No. Requests without an application or approval will not be processed.
Applications need to be submitted online from the registered agent, not the individual seeking help.
